Leitrim Calling was set up in 2007 as a confidential friendly telephone call service available to the older and vulnerable people across our communities.
We work collaboratively with a range of statutory and Community Organizations including the HSE, Mental Health Ireland, Primary Care Teams, Health Centres, Leitrim Development Co., An Garda Siochana, Leitrim County Council, Older People’s Council and St. Vincent de Paul.
Service-users are referred/directed to the service generally by Public Health Nurses, Social Workers, G.P.s,O.T.s, Mental Health Nurses, Active Age groups, family members, self-referrals and any other service/agency who shares our commitment to the care and wellbeing of older, vulnerable and lonely persons.
